DISA - Digital Innovation South Africa
Title: DISA - Digital Innovation South Africa
Title alternative: unlocking resources for research
Creator: University of KwaZulu-Natal <Durban
Abstract: The DISA project collects historical documents on the history of South Africa (partly also of other African countries, see e.g. Oral Histories/Interviews). Among others, you will find the full text documents of more than 40 anti-Apartheid journals that are difficult to access otherwise. Unfortunately, you can only browse the collection by resource type, and not topic or year. Nevertheless, you can also search for specific documents with keywords etc. DISA also hosts other projects, currently these are: Durban in Motion (Virtual Exhibition and Digital Archive), SAMAP (South African Musical Achricve Project, with currently five collections) and the Centre for Visual Methodology.
