Title: The Institute of Economic Affairs Ghana (IEA)
Creator: Mensa, Charles
Abstract: The Institute of Economic Affairs Ghana (IEA) is Ghana’s Premier Public Policy Institute. Established in 1989 by a Ghanaian economist, Dr. Charles Mensa, the IEA was set up with a view to broadening the debate on public policy; engendering private sector led economic growth, and strengthening the pillars of democracy. Ultimately the IEA's work is informed by its vision – an economically viable and democratic Ghana, West Africa and ultimately Africa in which the rule of law prevails, the institutions of democracy are protected and respected and the rights and freedoms of the citizens are enjoyed by them.
