The Basler Afrika Bibliographien (BAB) were created in 1971 in Basel as a private specialised library and an archive for Southern Africa. It is internationally known for its comprehensive Namibia archives. The library is considered to be the biggest one outside Namibia. Apart from Namibia, you can also find literature about Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Moçambique, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
