One of the main sites about the scripture and movement of N'ko, scripture invented by Guinean Solomana Kante in 1949 for the Mande languages. In order to view the site cirrectly, you have to download some special fonts. The site is a little bit chaotic. Homepage about the French photographer and postcard publisher Edmond Fortier (1862-1928) who settled in Dakar as from 1900 and who then probably was one of the most famous and of the first photographers in former French West Africa (AOF territory). The site shows many of his pictures from different francophone West African countries shortly after 1900.
