AJOL provides free hosting for over 330 peer-reviewed journals from 25 African countries which can be classed alphabetically, by subject or country, or can be searched. These journals cover the full range of academic disciplines with strong sections on health, education, agriculture, science and technology, the environment, and arts and culture. AJOL aims at hosting online all the full text of the participating journals by the end of 2008.These will be freely downloadable for the 50 plus Open Access journals on AJOL, and progressively charged for the subscription-based journals.
